Cross body / satchel

Hi all, I really need some help! I'm looking for a satchel type bag that can be worn cross body style and capable of holding a bit of clothing and cosmetics and a book so a little weight and not tiny! So far i can only find tiny ones or satchels that can only worn like a handbag. If anyone has seen the type of thing i'm on about please let me know!!!! I'm looking for this as a holiday beach bag and would use it at home for a lap top bag if it could fit. Thanks a millions!!!

My advice would be to look in the mens sections of shops like h&m, new look, etc. The guys messenger bags always have more room in them.

I would try either http://www.cambridgesatchel.co.uk/ or http://www.zatchels.com/. I've been wanting a satchel for ages but am poor! If it's something you're going to use a lot, and carry a laptop in, then it's worth investing in, though.

TK Maxx do great satchels, look in the men's department they have good ones from about thirty euro upwards

I have the Valencia, middle bag on second row, and I fit loads in it but look out for the taller version, Andres, on the top row - it's pretty big! There's a zipped compartment on the back of the bag too which I don't think is obvious from the pictures.

They are lovely quality bags, I have several!

I got mine on scaramanga.com, they're a little pricey but great quality. Mine is the medium size, so it just about holds my laptop but very little else. Maybe try the large sizes.

I got a lovely one yesterday ina new shop in dundrum called laundry or something, where pepe used to be. 50 euro and its fab, really delighted. Thanks everyone for your help!!!!

The only thing i'm still looking for is a big sunhat, i have an image of an audrey hepburn chic style in black, something like this http://www.twolia.com/blogs/heres-looking-like-you-kid/files/2009/06/audrey-hepburn-tiffanys-hat-scarf.jpg with or without ribbon but maybe staright out from the head instead of curved? Don't want one of those floppy ones, not sure if this makes sense but anyone has seen options please let me know!!!
