Hi guys, bit of a lurker on this forum but now in need of some advice. My love/hate relationship with my car is veering more towards hate these days. I think nearly everything that could go wrong with this car has gone wrong! At the moment the power steering isn't working and I don't think it's the pump as the power steering works when I put fluid in the reservoir but there's a leak somewhere as I find a pool of power steering fluid under the car after I fill up the reservoir. Anyone with experience or suggestions on where to start looking for the leak here? If it's something I can do myself I'd be willing to try as money is tight and replacing the pump is gonna be pricey.

Also after I start the car it takes a minute or two before the indicators, wipers or windows work. I've been reading through some forum posts on saabscene.com and they point to either the ignition relay or the ignition switch. I don't think this is something I could tackle myself so will bring the car to the mechanic for this. I'm wondering though if I can determine whether it's the relay or the switch and order the parts myself and try to save some money?

And lastly when it comes to ordering parts for my saab, any recommended websites?

I cant help with your problems, but with a previous saab I had, I found elkparts.com very competitive price wise for parts, and I like the layout of the site too, easy enough to find parts.

good luck with it, great car when not giving trouble
