    Hi,

If you had £50k to save/invest for the next 1-3 years what would you put it into? Say you are an Irish citizen who just left the UK for another country but is planning on going back to settle in Ireland in 1-3 years time depending on personal circumstances. I take it that it would be best to keep it in GBP?

£? Na I'd think that the weaker £ is the happier the Brit Gov will be and the BOE hardly seem in a rush to strengthen it. The ECB seems suicidally enthusiastic for a strong currency though. For what it's worth they are both rubbish but in real terms I think you'll get a better return in Ireland/€.
