Ok so in the mess of moving all my stuff, I seem to have mislaid my dreamcasts power cable. I plugged in the one from my ps3 and it worked so I'm hoping I can buy a spare one of them, just want to make sure thats not gonna mess up my console?

Do I need a dreamcast specific one? Or will a ps3 replacement suffice?

    Cheers!

Once the voltage is correct it should be fine, if the voltage is too high it'll melt the DC big time

A standard power cable is fine. I use the same one for my ps2, dreamcast and stereo.
