cracked thumb & index skin when running

    Hi,

I am an active guy running for 30/60 minutes daily, and I think my body lacks something because the skin on the inside of my palm (on thumb and index) is starting to crack.

It is summer, so these are not cracks from cold, usually I get those in the winter in the knuckles area.

Does it have to do with hydration or lack of a vitamin? If yes, which vitamin is it, did it happen to you?

I am drinking water all the time, and I also started using a nice hand cream for this, but my body feels like something is missing I think.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Many thanks!
