    Concessions for Croke Park Fixtures
The GAA continues to offer the best value in sport and there are special concessions available for kids (16s or under), Senior Citizens and students of third level institutions.
‘16s or under’ can avail of €5 tickets in designated sections of the Cusack Stand and in the Davin Stand. ’16s or under’ tickets can not be purchased individually and the ticket holder must be accompanied by an adult when attending any fixture.
Senior citizens and students with full price Cusack or Davin Stand tickets only can avail of concession rebates for fixtures in Croke Park. To claim the rebate you must present your full price Cusack or Davin Stand ticket and valid ID at the Block D turnstiles to rear of the Cusack Stand prior to entry to the stadium.
There are no concessions on Hogan Stand tickets, Premium tickets, Dineen Hill 16 tickets or Nally tickets. There are no concessions on GAA Season Tickets, juvenile tickets, complimentary tickets, tickets bought as part of a package or any other ticket excluded from concession entitlements by the GAA. There are no concessions on GAA All-Ireland Final tickets.
The GAA retains the right to refuse concession rebates or to change the rules that apply for concession rebates.

Ok so by reading this i assume only money off you receive on under 16 s tickets would be if you buy a ticket for the family section??

I wont get this if i pay for a full price ticket for a child and sit in another section??

Just want to clear this up as someone on here told me before i could get money back from a full price ticket for a child and sit where i wanted.

I guess i misunderstood the info.

You can get a concession on a full price ticket if you present student ID. Family tickets are for designated areas of the stadium which are usually inferior sections in the stand.

You can get the student concession for the child, just means you'll have to pay more than the 5 euro. You'll get a tenor of a full price ticket.

I'm actually wondering will I get student concession. I was able to get it as a secondary school student, just finished my Leaving Cert, I'm intending on going to college. I heard that your still classified as a student until you get your results. Is this true? Obviously, it's important for me to know this seen as I have nothing to prove I'm a student.

Just try get away with the child shout if not try the student one. They're not overly strict with it. But please remember you do not get a concession with Hogan stand tickets, the amount of people who don't realise that is ridiculous.

I was wondering if anyone knows how much ticket prices are for Third Level students (with student travel cards) to the AI Hurling Semi-Final ?
From reading the GAA website, I see that student discounts are available in the Cusack and Davin stands. Prices are normally €40 for these stands.

Afaik a concession means you get a tenner back at the gate when you show your ID.

Hey Slick. Do I buy my ticket as normal (so I can sit with friends) and just enter through a specific turnstile to get a refund or must I sit on my own in a designated area of the stadium?

You can only get the refund if tickets are for the Cusack or Davin Stands. But yeah, for these just buy your ticket as normal and get the refund at the gate.
