Hi, today after failing the test my examiner told me I should apply for a cancellation as I will get it next time. I was just wondering how do I go about doing this? On the RSA website I cannot see anything about it. Is the option to apply for one after the page where I have to submit my payement for the test? Also does anyone know how long you usaually have to wait for a cancellation while on the list. Information is much appreciated.

    Regards,
    Dl Saint.

Pretty sure that's wrong. You did your test and failed so now you need to re-apply for another.

Think you misread it chin grin

The OP accepts they failed and isn't looking to void the test
The OP just want to sit the test again asap.

Just get a letter from your employer stating you need it for work and add a line you are willing to be called at short notice and accept a cancellation
If you don't have an employer, well write a quick letter yourself. I see you are applying online, be sure to include your reference number to make it easy for the staff

Hello, 3 weeks ago this is how I did it. I booked a test online, then I rang the number 1890 40 60 40, I gave them my reference number from the booking confirmation email and I told them that I needed to get a test date urgently. They asked me how soon, I said ASAP. So they checked on their system and called out a few available times, I was very surprised that all these available times were within the week. I thought I needed a little bit practice, so I asked if anything available in the following week. Again they called out a few days for the following week, and I picked a Friday. The call took about 5 mins, and there was no hassle, no reference letter asked, they were very helpful. And I passed my driving test! :)

Hehe, glad I can help. I don't remember giving them any reason as they didn't ask. But if they ask you just say you need for work, I doubt they want the details. Thanks, and best luck to you !
