    Hmmmmmm

    One of their FAQs states......

How do I earn Commission from the retailers?
Once you have purchased your YourOwnStore we will assist you in joining the various companies affiliate programs so you can earn commission from them.

Attack your query from another angle.......
    1) How much money do you have to spend?
    2) What are you looking for in relation to investments / career?

Then head for Easons or your local library and do a bit of reading up on SEO/ the Web and how Google et-al rate sites.

I'd also suggest taking a look at Trade Doubler. They've already got an extensive list of reputable companies such as Dell, Vodafone and 02 to name just a few. They're Irish I believe.

There's nothing stopping you using an existing site or creating one and just dropping in links generated via tradedoubler. The tradedoubler element is zero cost, to build or redesgn a simple site would be far less than those UK starting prices are pitched at.

You will find that companies offering the affiliate deals ie Dell etc maybe very picky about who they allow join, so tradedoubler can't gaurantee you entry into the programmes you want.

Like any high street store the key to sales is bodies through the door and thats where the SEO comes in. If you're lucky you could hit the right combination straight away or it could take months to fine tune and get right and even then you're not guaranteed a return on your investment.

A rule that I've seen mentioned on Boards time and time again is "if it seems to good to be true, well it usually is!" If you have any doubts keep your hard earned cash in your pocket.

If you are certain the web is the way you want to go, do more research in the specific areas that interest you before taking the leap.

    Best of luck.
