Hello,
We are the band called "The Strangers". The band started early 2010 as cover rock music band created by members of Polish community in Dundalk (practicing in Oriel Culture Center). After couple of months of practicing we started to give live performances to local community with rock music greatest hit covers. On the back we started to practice symphony metal, gothic metal and gothic rock songs as our destination genre. Because of different belief about things (too long story for this board) two weeks ago band has split into two different bands playing different genres (currently both sharing one of guitarists - author of this post). Finally we lost bass guitar, drums and one of guitarists. We are looking for new people located in Co.Louth that will be available to rebuild our band. We do not mind nationality, age, current skills etc. If you want to play little harder music just contact us. There are two options as you see... first one is to create new rythm section and replace missing people. The second one includes real revolution - current keyboardist will play drums (he used to play drums in the past) and I will go with bass guitar (and still do guitar in second rock band).
Current resources we have:
2 skilled singers (girl and guy)
keyboardist (that might play drums)
guitar player (that might play bass
)
Also we already have some hardware like PA system and access to Oriel Culture Center for practicing.
The plan is to play some covers just to tune the band and then back to play originals.
