My brother and I have recent bought CB with LSB\USB. He bought the CB I bought the ariel . My brother no stranger to CBs use to user them when he was teenage , just the AM/FM before mobile phones.

We're located in killdare, is there any any one in that area that still uses CBs

I am in Waterford and have a CB but not much activity.
Normally Channel 14 is the calling channel and 19 the emergency so may be you want to monitor them.
If someone else has a CB it is better to make arrangements via email or mobile the best time to be on channel and calling out their handle for a copy.

Surely 14 is calling, 19 is truckers and 9 is emergency channel!

Wasn't Channel 11 the calling channel in Waterford? (Used to be back when CB was popular.)
