Self Build - drawings - Floor

Please help, a bit confused about what goes where in the floor.
I am building a house and so far my understanding is:
Strip foundation, then fill stone up to radon/dpc barrier, then concrete slab, then insulation, pipes for UFH, then screed.

Now where in there goes copper pipes for towel rails?
I assume they go in the floor? We are putting in UFH but we need towel rails to help with the back boiler in the stove.

Also at what point do I need to look at sewerage pipes and mains water pipes entering the building through the floor?

Some detail drawings would be useful , but i have hunted high and low on the tinternet but I cannot find ones with pipes included?

    All help welcome

Sewerage pipes (from toilets, whb's, showers etc. go out before the hardcore goes in to fill the floor (you could run smaller wastes such as whb's and baths out above floor level through the walls afterwards if you wished but you'll need to pay specific attention to sealing around the exit point through the walls if you choose to go this route.)

You also need to look at the point of access for your water and electricity supply pipes before the base is filled, along with the entry point for pipes from your heat source if it's external.

I'd run all plumbing supply pipework (including the pipes for the towel rails) in the concrete sub floor. Make sure they're wrapped in insulation (talk to your plumber) so that there'll be no risk of heat loss. This will leave you with a good flat base on which to place your underfloor heating insulation, making the job far easier, and minimising awkward cutting of inulsation boards. This location also isolates your cold water supply from the underfloor heating pipework.

You need to consider a location for your radon sump also, which needs to sit in the stone fill under the radon barrier, and needs to have an extract pipe brought to a location on the external wall which will allow for the fitting of a vertical extract pipe at a later stage if necessary.

You'll basically need to consider entry and exit points for all services at this stage.

So does a plumber normally get involved and install the pipes at this stage or can the builder doing the foundation/subfloor complete the pipe installations.
    Is there any recommendation?

I'd get your plumber to do it. It's the best place for them IMO. If you're installing underfloor heating the plumber will need to be involved shortly anyway. This just means he'll have 2 visits instead of one.

The builder will usually look after all the waste pipes and domestic water pipe.
