Who's your favorite ER character?

I pretty much like the entire main cast, but I've only seen seasons 1-4 and half of season 5 so far. My favorite characters though would have to be John Carter and Lucy Knight. So who's your favorite character or characters?

I had loads of favourites... John Carter, Peter Benton, Susan Lewis, Mark Greene, Cynthia (she was a desk clerk that used to go out with Dr Greene. she was only in 1 season but I thought they should have kept her on it for longer. She was hilarious) Doug Ross, Jeannie Boulet, I liked William H Macy's character too (I can't remember what his name was), Luka Kovac, Abby Lockhart, Neela Rasgotra, Sam Taggart, Tony Gates, Dr Romano... I think everyone loved to hate him.

Romano was my favourite, mainly because every other character on TV at the time was so politically correct and he was not !! Kind of like Sue in Glee - he got away with saying just about anything to anyone.

Personally i liked Carter the best, then Weaver. I also liked Romano, he was the typical bad guy, lol.

Eye candy aside though, John Carter was probably my favourite character.

I just started watching this again on Sky Athlantic forgot how good a show it was. How Sunday nights on tv have changed.

My favourite characters.....wow with 16 seasona there are alot.
Doug and Carol- just watched Carol's last episode last week when she goes to find him and wow I forgot how much I loved them both as a couple

John Carter, Mark Greene, Neala, Ray and Frank. Ok i'll stop there before I list every cast member

Felt the show was based around people liking Carters character and watching him grow, I liked Benton, him and Carter together were pretty good, but Romano was the most enjoyable.

Has to be Benton and Carter. Especially the relationship between the two.

I thought Abby was great - she went through so much over the years and was still strong and fiesty when she needed to be.
I have started watching it again on Sky Atlantic and I'm delighted that it hasn't aged at all.
I loved the 15th series most of all,

in each episode you got to say goodbye to each much loved character one at a time

- every Sunday evening, I sat down with a bowl of popcorn and tissues.

Like a few people eluded to I think it was watching partnerships of characters that was the strength of the show, not just the individual people: Doug & Carol, Mark & Elizabeth vs. Elizabeh & Benton, Abby & Kovac vs. Abby & Carter, Weaver vs. Romano. The writers explored so many possibilities without losing faith to the original characters. Brilliant. And just as good to rewatch on Sky Atlantic, it's aging so well

Found a couple of old video tapes of ER - one had a documentary aired before the final episode of ER, and all the cast are there reminiscing about their favourite parts, and different things that went on behind the scenes. Was emotional watching it

Favourite character - very hard to pick, but Carter by a whisker! I could probably list the whole of the cast after him, very hard to choose. Thinking of buying some of the boxsets and relive my Sunday nights 9.20pm

Carter and Lucy back in those days... I didn't really take to Carter when he was the man on a mission to save the world in the later seasons... I loved Abby from day one, but in the later seasons I just loved the Neela and Ray relationship... Never really warmed to Pratt, don't know why, but my cousin thought he was by far the best.
