I reckon it's something to do with the agreement between the GAA, tickets.ie and Ticketmaster - each company will get a bit of Croker to sell.

If it's a problem, just buy your ticket via the GAA ticket office where you don't have to pay the transaction fee/service charge.

Id say that cause tickets.ie have already sold the tickets that were allocated to them, and now even the ticketmaster has no hill tickets left grrr d one game I wanted to go to d hill... mind u tickets for hogan and cusack aren't great on either of the two sites...

They might still get another allocation of Hill tickets if their's have sold out already. If not, you could try the GAA ticket office on Dorset Street if it's convenient. I would say you would have no problem buying a ticket on the day either, there's no way the match will sell out.

Does anyone know if the ticket office is open Monday to Friday and from what time does it open and close at?

It is open Monday to Saturday and on any Croke Park match days. Times I'm not too sure of. I would say from about 10.30 am to around 5 p.m. It could be later on certain days.

Prob should of looked harder, only not for All Ireland Finals

    Concessions for Croke Park Fixtures
The GAA continues to offer the best value in sport and there are special concessions available for kids (16s or under), Senior Citizens and students of third level institutions.
‘16s or under’ can avail of €5 tickets in designated sections of the Cusack Stand and in the Davin Stand. ’16s or under’ tickets can not be purchased individually and the ticket holder must be accompanied by an adult when attending any fixture.
Senior citizens and students with full price Cusack or Davin Stand tickets only can avail of concession rebates for fixtures in Croke Park. To claim the rebate you must present your full price Cusack or Davin Stand ticket and valid ID at the Block D turnstiles to rear of the Cusack Stand prior to entry to the stadium.
There are no concessions on Hogan Stand tickets, Premium tickets, Dineen Hill 16 tickets or Nally tickets. There are no concessions on GAA Season Tickets, juvenile tickets, complimentary tickets, tickets bought as part of a package or any other ticket excluded from concession entitlements by the GAA. There are no concessions on GAA All-Ireland Final tickets.
The GAA retains the right to refuse concession rebates or to change the rules that apply for concession rebates.
