I already know of gumtree and have an ad on there but are there any other sites? I thought this forum used to have a rehoming thread for regular people but it seems that doesn't exist anymore.

Yeah it does, here you go http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055626371

I take it from your post that you are looking for a new home for a dog, rather than trying to find a dog to join your family? irishanimals.ie have an excellent rehoming section, and there is also Pets Ireland, just google it, as I can never remember the web address.

Lovely looking dog, but I would take the ad down from Gumtree, a bull breed is going to attract all the wrong kinds of attention on that site. Best off trying to get help through a rescue or one of the rescue sites.

I agree with Shanao irishanimals as mentioned and petsireland is another one

EGAR = East Galway Animal Rescue

I think this is the website http://www.egar.org/

EGAR is a member on boards too.

Thanks. I checked out the site. I have no way of getting the dog to Galway though.

Get in touch with EGAR and see what they see. Sometimes rescues have volunteers who will transport a dog.

from what i can tell they pull bull breeds out of pounds all across Ireland so they may be able to collect.

they also asses and train dogs so the might be able to fix his mounting problem.

finally theyll only re home to the right person.
