Best option for multiple individual tshirt printing

I'm looking to sell t-shirts and canvas bags of designs I do that have always proved very popular and I'm just wondering if anyone can suggest the best option for me.
I am familiar with printing onto transfer paper and ironing on but I've always found it looks a bit basic (though maybe it was just the paper I used?).

I'd be looking to do several different designs rather than multiples of the same picture so mass printing doesn't suit me.

Also were would be the best to buy the tshirts/bags?

Have you looked into digital printing at all? you would have to make the bags and tshirts after you get your fabric back but you can get really complex designs done for relatively little cost. Try Spoonflower http://www.spoonflower.com/welcome
or Fabpad, although I cant seem to access its web page right now.
    Hope that helps!

Depending on your designs you could look at Screen Printing.

Screen printing wouldn't work for the designs i need but that video was great, i never knew how to do it before. Might try it for a few other projects i've in the pipelines :) also again with digital printing, doesn't suit what i need done but i think i'll be using it for a few other projects- seems like great value and could really help me create something different :) thanks for the help- i think i'm going to just do each design by hand using paints (unless anyone can suggest a good quality fabric marker??) it means i'll be longer working on them but it'll also make them much more special
