Has anyone replaced screen on a 4G ipod touch. My screen is smashed and wanna get it fixed.
I was quoted €95 to get but fixed in a repair shop.
    I was looking at THIS
    on ebay.
I heard the 4G is alot harder to replace.

It's extremely difficult to do, taking out the old screen there is a chance or ripping the ribbon cable for the buttons which needs to be soldered in if you do break and it's a real tight squeeze getting the new screen to fit back in.
I've done one or two, and I stopped doing them due to the time it takes to get it right, also received a few doa screens

    Thanks for reply.
Looks like I'll have to pay the repair shop.
