I'm flying from Cork - London - Chicago this week and I booked my flights with ebookers, Cork-London with Aer Lingus and London-Chicago with Virgin Atlantic.

Do I print off my ebookers receipt and bring it to the airport or what do I do?

i always print it off, about 95% of the time all they take is your name and scan passport but sometimes ive seem them glance over the page as i allways hand it to them so id have it just to be on safe side,
also dontfor get to have the card you booked flights with on you as thats something else some flights ask for!

Did you book it as one ticket? If so your bags will be checked through from Cork to Chicago and you won't have to reclaim them and checkin again separately at Heathrow. They might give you the onwards ticket at Cork or if they don't you'll have to go to the Virgin desk at Heathrow or ask at the Aer Lingus desk when you are passing it as Virgin is in Terminal Three and Aer Lingus in Terminal 1.
    > Interline Baggage - (other airlines)
    • Aer Lingus will through-check baggage as a courtesy onto any carrier that have a baggage agreement in place, upon presentation of documentation of the itinerary showing Aer Lingus and partner carrier flights on the same ticket.
    • This includes the following airlines: American Airlines, Air France, Air India, Alaska Airlines, Finnair, British Airways, Air China, China Airlines, Cathay Pacific, China Southern, Emirates, Etihad, Gulf Air, Iberia, Japan Airlines, KLM, Kenya Airways, Kuwait Airways, Malev, Malaysian, Martin Air, Northwest, Austrian Airlines, Pakistan Airlines, Qantas, Qatar Airways, South African Airways, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airlines, United Airlines, Sri Lankan Airlines, US Airways, Virgin Atlantic and JetBlue Airways.

Great help guys. I should of checked sooner, but yeah I booked the whole thing as one ticket. So was just wondering if they'll recognise Ebookers as a valid company when I show up and say "I've booked through these guys, not you" but seems like it'll be OK! Cheers!

Ebookers should have sent you an eTicket receipt - this will contain a ticket number (13 or 14 digits, probably starting with 932) and usually a PNR (6 letters and numbers). If you don't have that, then get on to them.

Ebookers will be seen as "one booking" for the purpose of sending bags all the way to Chicago, so the whole thing should be a fairly painless process tbh.

    Enjoy :D
