Did anyone hear the jackhammering coming from Smithfield square last Thursday night? It is bad enough we have to put up with that in the day from 8am until 6pm, but from 1.30 to 3am? (maybe more, i fell asleep with a cushion over my head)

I called the garda and they said i should call the construction company (at 2am). I felt like pointing out that is her job (in any other country).

Eh no, noise pollution is a matter for the council and they were probably granted a licence to work that late... take it up with DCC on Monday morning.
