Planting Bog or Upland

    Hi all,

    Do any of you know whether you can plant upland areas anymore.?

    I know neighbours around us have mountain type peaty stoney land planted 5 or 6 years ago.
    Neighbour told me they dont plant bog or upland areas anymore.

    Anyonein the know if this is true.?

    Mostly has changed yes

    Must be capable of a yield class of 16
    and not be above 300 metres I think, I'll post a link/info later

    Here is a screenshot from the silvicultural guidelines from
    the department of agriculture.

    Not listed is broadleaves not above 185m in east and 120m in the west
