If you connect the Macbook to the router with Ethernet does it work?

On router: what lights are on? Is there a DSL light on or off?
    What other lights are on/off?
    What model is the router?
    Who is your ISP?
Did you turn the router off and on again?
    Has it worked before?

If you are using fixed IP, change it to dynamic.

The ON light, ADSL light, and WiFi light are on.

    Not sure of the ISP
    Yep, off and on again.
I think it's worked before, but not 100%.

    I'll look into that.

Does the Mac work with other wireless networks?

Open up the router interface in your browser and see if DHCP is enabled and has assigned you an IP. Should be under attached devices.
Check your MAC address isn't blocked for some reason.
