Any details would be helpful. I was offered a fitness test last september but I couldn't go cause I had just started a new job the day before the test.

I presume whenever the government decide to lift the recruitment embargo.

Its probably all down to money and the fact the country aint got any.

Depends if want to go the enlisted route or officers route. Cadetship competition is usually held once a year. Current one started in Feb I think, so Feb 2012 would be a good bet for that. Don't think any enlisted personnel are being sought ATM.

You should download the PDF app, it was releases yesterday. Seems fairly useful for keeping up to date.

The minister confirmed in the dail this week that no more general service recruits are being sought this year, but there will be a cadet class, and certain technical posts will be filled

They were recruiting general service members around the same time they were recruiting for cadets. I've heard that they will be doing something similar next year, but this is only here say, so don't take my word on it
