Open office Writer comment feature

I'm finding the comment feature to be a bit of a hassle, the default font is Tahoma 10. I can't seem to find the settings to change it.

    I found this macro tip:

    http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=71&t=36465

It worked the first time, but not anymore. Sometimes it will change the font size, sometimes it won't. Not sure what the problem is.

    Any advice would be welcome.

Openoffice is doomed since Oracle more or less slaughtered it. Fortunately it's been forked into Libreoffice so the above forum might be able to help you.

you don't say which operating system you are running on ...

I'm using ubuntu myself and the default font for comments is "ubuntu" - this comments default is coming from the default "application font" of the OS. In ubuntu you can change this default in the "Appearance" application.

Oh... and that's in LibreOffice but I'm pretty sure it's the same in OpenOffice (still).
