Volvo S40 1.8 VVT Cam Timing Nightmare

Does anyone have a cam shaft diagram for a Volvo S40 1.8 VVT or cam timing diagram.

I removed the timing belt and the cam pulley but the cam shift slipped. I'm trying to re time the inlet cam but there are no distinguishing marks to time it against only grooves on the rear of the cam shafts.

Can anyone help with this please. It's turning into a nightmare

    OP

These are a b**tard to do.So much so that the Volvo special tool isnt your normal lock the camshaft up piece of metal. It has about 4 legs on it to lock everything up so that the Vvt pullet doesnt slip.

Also theres only something like a 2 degree tolerance in these and if it not within that the engine light goes on and it`ll run like crap.

If I owned one of these its probably one of the only jobs I`d go to a main dealer for since Ive seen some indys try for 3-4 days to get this right before eventually bringing the car to us to correct.

Hi thanks for posting the image above but unfortunately Ineed the cam shaft angles looking from the rear, the cam pulley marks are useless because the pulley rotated unknown degrees on the shaft.

Any chance you have another diagram from that angle?

    Thanks
