    Budget: €500-600

Intended use: college work, internet, e-mail, Word processing, games (GOG.com, World of Warcraft, Counter-Strike Source, Team Fortress 2, Football Manager, playable settings)

Mobility: Anything under 17'', although I'd consider it if the price was good

    Warranty: Not very important

What Operating System do you use? Windows 7

Hi folks, old laptop is dying, time for a replacement. Think that's all the questions in the sticky answered. Anyway, any advice?

I'm also interested to see any recommendations.. in a similar situation myself!

I'm in the same boat and I've come across the following:

    http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/Acer_Aspire_5745DG_3D_Screen__3D_Glasse_1005709.html

I'm not bothered about the 3D, and while I would prefer a slightly better CPU, the GPU on this machine is by far the best I've seen in this price range and should suit for gaming.

That looks good, I'll probably order it when I have the money together.

Small snag though, it keeps asking me for a post code. Do they actually deliver to Ireland and if so, how do I get around this?
