Well, if the Mona Lisa was giving a Nazi salute, would it still not being amazing 'painting'?

I'm not saying that the image you included was art, I am just saying almost anything can be classified as such and who is to say they are wrong, when someone can almost win the Turner prize with an unmade bed.

If its an album cover I take it the artist is phudge packers and the album name is God hates fags ?

If thats the case then the artwork is the picture behind the titles and yes it can be considered art.

I think art is when interpretation is left to the viewer, reader or listener. When there is no room for interpretation as with a statement of "God hates fag" then it cant be considered as anything other than either the opinion of the "artist" or an attepmt to incite hatred towards a group of people based on the "artists" own views.

So its artwork with the artist and album name printed over it.

Basically its advertising using artwork with product name on it.

I think some artist use their Licence to find an edge rather than to express real art. Changing Our Lady of Guadalupe to a woman in Bikini is offensive, lacks taste. Of course a Good painting of a naked lady is art, natural beauty, not intended to cause offense. But what the Mexican "artist" has done she did to provoke attention, creating value for the piece ( I suppose who can blame her ) but is it right for offend a section of society in this way for your own finance end?

Yes it is. Justy because you (or I) agree with it or don't agree with it or ebdcause it sends a bigoted message doesn't automatically stop it from being art.
