Does anybody know where I could get a jib for a JCB? broke it today and it looks near impossible to fix. A second hand would do but the web is not throwing up much for me.

    Thanks!

I think most of them break due to metal fatigue (the constant strain and bending over the years rather than the actual event that triggered the snap). It use to happen a lot with early Hymacs.

It's a '88 3cx. Managed to line it up today and stuck loads of weld on it. Don't know how long it will last but if i picked up a cheap jib, i'd change it.

Didnt do anything in particular to break it - it just wore and broke.
