Right, I've got a protools session that I need to do some editing on, mainly have to put together a comp of a double to a lead vocal line from various takes. What I want to know is, when consolidating a session in PT, is it possible to create audio files of all the playlists on given tracks in the session?
If I can get the playlists out aqs audio files, I can just bring them in to Logic, create a take folder and I'll have what I want done in a few minutes. I don't have, or know, PT, but can get the consolidation done by someone else.

    Good question -

Isn't there a comp function where every playlist can be converted into a track and then consolidate ?

I think it came in on PT8 ...

If so Paul, that's exactly what I'm after. Don't want to have to spend ages doing realtime solo'd bounces of each playlist...

when consolidating, I think there's an option "Include alternate playlist" or similar (no pro tools here now). If the whole song is selected, this should consolidate everything, then go Save Copy In, make sure to tick "include audio" and "include alternate playlists." This will save a whole new copy of the session, including audio files. You take this copy and providing all the audio files (not track names in the session) are named correctly, you can take everything into logic and arrange it accordingly, quite quickly.

OR, you could do it the way the fancy dan professionals do it:
Digitranslator or dv toolkit needed in pro tools (perhaps pro tools 9 has it as standard though, considering everyone else does)
Export the session as an AAF/MXF/OMF type of file. Lets say AAF. This exports the session data aswell as audio files, which can then be imported to logic, with all data intact, timeline position and all. Some DAW specific data may not transfer too well between some systems, but there's not much of that.

Edit: I thought there was an option when you right click a track somewhere in the edit window to "Create alternate playlists as tracks", or something along those lines. So, it'll spew out 9 new duplicate tracks with all the playlists on them. Is that what you were getting at Paul?
