Acer 5700 i3 hibernation bug

Hey folks My da has acer z5700 i3 runnings windows 7 that sometimes won't come out of hibernation. In the lat month when he tries to wake it up from hibernation sometimes it just doesn't respond and he has to reset the machine. Any ideas folks ?
