    Just purchased from the boards:

Seemingly a battery / gearbox OR piston issue?

Advise greatly appreciated, here's the issue
Initially I charged the pistol for 2 hours, it shot fine. I put three mags through it.

I left the pistol for 15 mins or so and then wanted to put another magazine through but no power? hmm I thought maybe the battery had discharged? (possibly a weak battery?)

On charge for another hour and popped the battery back into the pistol, again working fine. I then decided to leave it again for 15 mins, when I came back to the pistol it almost didn't fire again. By pulling the trigger a couple of times I got it firing again.

Initially slower, you could almost hear the workings in slow motion, however the more I fired the quicker it got back to it's normal rate. It's almost like the battery was struggling to pull back the piston? After ejecting the battery it seemed possibly hotter than I would of imagined it should of?

I don't know much about electric airsoft weapons but I'm learning and researching about them more and more.

My thoughts are possible the battery is weak? It's hard to determin how many mAH are left in the battery. Using a DMM I found the DC Voltage to be 7.6v which is slightly confusing as it's a 7.2v battery?

So do you know anything about the battery? or even about this problem that I'm experiencing. Ultimately it's no good having a side arm which when you have to draw it and use in an emergency and then it doesnt fire!

Maybe it's a little of the battery and a little of either the gearbox or the piston which is causing the problem? I don't know, I'm half tempted to strip it down and check it's all clean inside. My worries about doing this are, well it's kinda working if it's charged and that I may break it by doing this?

    Thoughts and suggestions please!
