Walker WP2211LCDS Saorview teletext problems

Hi guy, looking for a bit of help or recommendations here....

I have a 21'' Walker LCD tv with saorview compatability, and i have a problem with the teletext on the saorview channels, it just wont work...when i press the text button on the remote 'loading' appears on the bottom right hand of the screen but thats it, teletext doesnt appear.....anyone any ideas?

All saorview channels are working perfeclty on the tele, and i have a 37'' samsung in the sitting room with saorview and teletext is working perfectly on that.....

Based on my own experience of a Walker TV (and its cousin the Lidl Silvercrest) the text takes ages to load, very slow. If after a minute or two it doesn't load there may be a problem with the TV.

would you credit it, it worked today but as mentioned above it takes anywhere from 1 - 2 mins to load and then changing to any page it very slow too....can this be changed or it there any setting take can be tweaked to speed it up?

I've a walker also and teletext is desperately slow on it,don't know if there's any way to speed it up.I don't use teletext much anyhow so not a major problem.

I have a Walker saorview approved TV with built in DVD, the text is very slow and sometimes wont work. On ocassions I have to unplug the TV to get it back to normal as it freezes trying to load text.
The TV is in a kids bedroom so its not used for text anyway. If it was the main TV I would have sent it back to the north pole.
