I saw Titanic in the cinema.

I still feel sick thinking about it.

:D It's the "in the cinema" that elevates this from a good post to a great post.

I cracked my sternum, or had it cracked for me i guess.

Hurt like a mother****er....i honestly thought my chest was going to pop open.

That said, i'd rather break a bone than have some **** ram a needle into it OP.

Your stupid ****ing **** of a partner taking a call for a "domestic disturbance" on a Friday night a half an hour before the end of your shift.

My brain haemorrhage in 2008 was fairly fúcked up on the pain scale.
Survived it though and happy to be here.

I can never, ever, ever, thank my surgeon in Beaumont, Mr. Chris Pidgeon. enough for what he did for me.

When I did try and say it to him, you would think he did stuff like that every day of the week. All I can say is fair play and total respect to him.

I got a needle in my spine to numb the bottom half of my body for surgery.

Nearly feinted - the porters caught me (you have to sit on the side of the operating table). I think the needle went in twice.

The anesthetist told me that other anesthetists don't like giving the spine number because they have to talk with the patients while they have their surgery.

She was telling me about her pony that was €100k, I pretended to be interested.

Shoulda got the general anasthetic :pac:
