iPod Audio Question

I currently have my Xbox 360 setup to stream from my Windows 7 PC and I've noticed that songs so much better played through the TV streamed from the computer than they do on my iPhone. I've a few sets of headphones and while the music sounds good on the iPhone, when it's streamed and played via the TV it sounds so much better.

I have a Samsung 40" HD TV but I don't have a surround sound system or anything, just the speakers that came built in to the TV.

It's hard to know what it is, just the songs sound clearer. Like I can hear the guitars and chord changes better when listening streamed via the TV.

Is there anything I can change on my iPhone to make the songs sound more like they do streamed?

Sorry for the vague nature of the post!

The TV will have a better range of frequencies than your headphones, unless your using high end head phones. What headphones are you using? The quality and output of the iPhone is the same, and Apple have put alot of work into the audio end. To sound as good, you'll need high end headphones. Or connect my audio jack to the the TV.

I have a pair of Panasonic Technics RP-F350 Stereo Headphones.

I also have a pair of Sennheiser headphones which I hate. The music doesn't sound great on them and they are fair too tight and it's like putting my head into a vice.
