    If a hospital takes samles of your blood will they find diseases like HIV etc.?

    Only if they test for it specifically and they are supposed to ask your permission before doing that.

    Im just very paranoid about the disease. If you have sex with a partner who is HIV negative them you cant get it?

    It involves a lot more factors than just sex - it can be transmitted through blood products, sharing intravenous needles etc. Has your partner been tested to be HIV negative? Have you ever had any casual sex - can you account for all your sexual partners histories?

    Testing for the virus has to be (AFAIK) with your consent, and involves some form of counselling, either way, to prepare you for both eventualities. I know in the UK blood service they test for the virus amongst other things and inform you if you have any indications.
