    Aww man :(

I loved watching Columbo as a kid and even nowadays when I manage to catch it.

He was great in The Princess Bride too, the perfect narrator's voice.

    RIP

Columbo was a great TV character and when you heard him say......"just one more thing", you knew the bad guy was fecked.

    May he RIP.

Used to love that show. I think there was also one episode where the bad guy got away with it. Also a wifey mrs columbo spinoff ?

He was also quite good in Wings of Desire the Win Wenders movie. Always came across as a down to earth kind of person.

Columbo figured it out, but couldn't charge the guy becuase of diplomatic immuinity.

always enjoyed watching columbo. found it odd seeing him play gangsters in some movies becuase of it. ;p

Ahhh...just saw this now . He was a legend ,one of my all time fav actors and great tv /movie charecter who had being ill for some time , suffering from dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

I loved the repeats of Columbo on sunday afternoons and he did the New York gangster accent better than anybody in films like Murder, Inc which he was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance as the gangster Abe Reles .He was also a very talented painter to .

    RIP.
