Teeth Grinding

I've been grinding my teeth in my sleep for the the last few weeks and I woke up this morning with a couple of loose chips in my mouth.
I'm off to the dentist soon but in the meantime I was wondering if anyone knows what can be done about it.

Maybe wear a gum shield like rugby players use? I know not ideal but might help until you can get professional advice.

Go to your dentist, a "hard" nightguard will stop tooth damage from night grinding.
