Rob I'll take this for asking, If you wanted to sell The poorly functioning CYMA AEP that your havin problems with to me I've been looking for one for parts. Could offer you 20 quid. At least you would get some of your money back. Thats if your not goin to have it repaired. Just givin you an option. Cheers

Thanks for your offer RogueSpear, I'll bear this in mind, i'm currently thinking that I need to test this pistol with a new battery, just to be sure where the problem actually is, but because of the seemingly unreliable supply of stock batteries available I am half tempted to source a Tenergy 7.4v 900mah 25c lipo instead? Like I say I'll keep your offer in mind and think about the pistols future. Thanks fella

I'll still take the AUG fore grip for asking. I got 2 Tenergy lipos for my PDW to put them internally (hate the look of the PEQ box with wires hanging out) but they fit perfectly in the G18c AEP with modification to the electrical connectors. They cost me a little short of 30 quid for 2 delivered. Got them off Jamie in BoomTownHobbies in the States. Great to deal with had them in 3 days!! Have to say, its a great little plinker but not the best for skirmishing just dosen't have the power. These come stock at 200-230fps if your lucky. The range and hitting power just isent there. It can do the job but nowhere near the performance of a Gas or Co2 pistol. If your goin to hold on to it and you want to invest in the Lipos then I'll just take the AUG fore grip. If you want to sell me both thats even better, let me know.

I had actually written a lovely long reply to your post RogueSpear, it was full of useful information and links. Unfortunately it had taken me so long to write it that I had been timed out of this website and it asked me to log in, I clicked back hoping to still see my message and my whole message was lost :eek::mad:
