I'm looking for a company to be able to provide direct debit solutions. I know of www.easisolutions.ie, but none others. Basically I want to make it as simple as possible for prospective customers to sign up & to try to get a broader base than just credit card/paypal customers.

    Anyone any suggestions ?

We looked at Sentenial before , i think it was about a grand to get setup and then a percentage.

Might be worth looking at moneybookers and their recurring payment service (easier and cheaper to get up and running) although I think the recurring amount needs to be a fixed amount so wouldn't help you if the amounts are going to be variable.

    Hi,
The simplest way for customers to signup is via Originator Plus (OP). Its DD without the need for them to sign a mandate. Unfortunately, as far as I'm aware payment collection companies do not seem to offer it as an option, for security reasons I'd imagine.

What volume of payments will you be eventually running?

It might be worth speaking to your bank about becoming a DD/OP originator. With online banking its quite easy to keep track and there's third party software out there that'll generate the DD files for you.

In a previous life I ran my DDs/OPs through AIB.

    Best of luck.
