This has been on my radar for a while, mostly because Yvonne Strahovski is in it. But the trailer is incoherent crap. I'll wait for the reviews.

James Caan, Robert Duvall? Bad movie.

I'm surprised they didn't change the title to avoid confusion with the Peckinpah film. I actually thought this was remake at first. Although I guess no one really remembers that film.

Actually a pretty good movie, just slightly odd.

The words James Caan, Robert Duvall and bad movie do not go together. The Peckinpah film is great fun, completely bonkers and off the wall madness with some of the oddest fight scenes around. That it features traditional Irish musician Tom Clancy who may or may not have been cast for his ability to keep up with Peckinpah when it came to drinking make it all ever odder.

Jason Statham doing what he does best kicking ass and now has Robert De Niro and Clive Owen joining in should be a good popcorn flick :)

This is dreadful, I just made a post about it on imdb. (spoliers)

These so called elite assassins must be the most unsubtle crowd of hitmen I have ever seen.

They botched every single job, right from the start.

They talk about how paranoid ex-SAS men are the guy goes to an SAS pub and starts asking questions directly about Oman, with a dodgy Aussie accent!

Then they had my idea they migth have been tailed until they see this guy taking pictures of them in the middle of the desert, then they someone let the snapper go even though THEY WERE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DESERT!

Then after making some sort of hammer out of floor tiles then still managed to *beep* up the hit by shooting a defenseless man on his kness. wtf? We never even heard why this wasn't suspected as foul play - a bullet to the head? lol.

Next we see Dominic Purcell stab a guy in his studio with a pencil WHILE HE WAS ON THE PHONE TALKING ABOUT HOW SUSPICIOUS A GUY IN HIS STUDIO IS.

It seems the elite SAS bridage doesn't know who sneaks in to their running through he mountains thing, fancy that? Jason Statham could have easily been some covert commie spy who would have been easily able to blow up half of the UK's entire special forces.

Next we have two ex-SAS men somehow managing to let Purcell go after they caught him completely naked having sex. They didn't bother cuffing him, hooding him, tieing him up whatever. Nothing. Just "get into the back to the van please"

I don't even know how to continue describing this mess. What a comedy of errors.

Best of all was Clive Owen leaving the target Ranulph Fiennes COMPLETELY UNGUARDED! All they left him with was a kettle! lol.

And de Niro is hardly in it.

    What a waste of time.

I think I'll be giving this a miss. I'll watch the bits with Yvonne on YouTube.
