Chockers Shoes?

Anyone bought from Chockers Shoes before? Seen them in Look magazine last week and pondered the website most of their shoes are a complete copy of River Islands shoes for half the price for example these http://www.chockersshoes.co.uk/category/florals/product/clancy/ compared to these http://www.riverisland.com/Online/women/shoes--boots/wedges/blue-print-canvas-wedge-sandals-599714. Well worth a look but am wary of buying online without feedback after a recent fiasco. Thanks girls.

Chockers is a fantastic site, great prices and the product is really good quality! Highly recommend them!

I am not a fan. A friend and I tried to order before and they tried to charge the extortionate price of ten pounds per pair of shoes for postage! :eek:
she wrote them an email to complain and they never even replied

Hi,
I would really advise never to buy shoes on the chockers website. I ordered 2 pairs of shoes nearly 6 weeks go. It says on the website they take 5-10 days to arrive but a week after i ordered them i got an e-mail to say both pairs were out of stock even though they had already taken my money. I odviously cancelled my order & requested my money back straight away & still now i have not seen a penny of it. Even though i cancelled the order, i had a delivery man at my door with a pair of shoes from them. I refused to accept the order & yet im still waiting. They are the worst company to deal with ever & i have to get in contact with my solicitor in relation to it now.... I am a serious shoe lover but this is way to much hastle.... When i look back now i should have noticed something wrong when they dont even have a phone number to contact them on... I hope this info helps anyone that thinks there shoes look great & want to buy them....

Fortunatly I didnt place an order but my friend did and shes in the same boat as you bules69. Ridiculous as they have ads in all the top magazines.
