Finally got round to purchasing this album last week in HMV. €7.99 didnt think I could go wrong.

I had seen this band on the Sat night show with Brendan O Connor. I was in the audience and they were the best thing about a horrible show. Checked them out on youtube and have seen them live now once. The album really impressed me especially Fleetwood Black Keys In my time of Dying and Guilt Quilt. The album is loud and booms out of every speaker. But the album really takes shape in a live environment. The night I saw them it was blood sweat and tears (mostly mine:)). I see the album dinted the Irish charts at 16 which I suppose is respectable? without being Adele like. Hope to see them at Oxygen this year and I think Irish music is going through a renaissance at the moment and these guys are on the coat tails.

    Anyone seen them play?

There's a 3or4 stand out tracks on the album but you're right, the only place to hear them is live. They put on an electric show, loads of energy, rockin tunes and they look and carry themselves like a good rock&roll band should. If you are into the likes of BRMC or good old fashioned rock and roll definately go see them.

Cheers for the reply I look forward to seeing them at Oxygen and another Dublin date soon. From their website they seem to be gigging 4/5 nights a week around the country. Obviously a hard working band which is always good to see. Must be hard to give it 100% every night.

    Roll on Oxygen:)
