2nd hand EGR valve and Back/Center boxes

    Have an '00 Opel Astra 1.4, and the three things mentioned in the title will need to be replaced. Is their any harm putting 2nd hand parts for these, as I dont think its worth forking out for new parts

    EGR 2nd hand yes, but not worth it for what you'd pay for a 2nd hand exhaust and the length you'd get out of it.

    If you have a look on somewhere like GT exhausts www.gtexhausts.co.uk they are quite reasonable on price and do next day delivery....

    I'd get a new EGR valve, they are rubbish and will give up at least if you have a new one there is probably warrenty.

    New OEM EGR valves for those Astra's are available online. Try EBAY or Autovaux.com.
