    Hi All,

I've just heard the Charleville show is on this weekend. Anyone been there before. Is it worth the trip?. Are there plenty of Classics?.

Yes well worth it, I'm heading Friday evening despite the weather forecast. There's usually a very good turn out of commercials, a bit of steam, heaps of tractors and a large number of cars, especially on the Sunday. Lots of traders too.

Always a good turn-out, plenty of trade stands and cars/tractors/steam etc...

Last year the cars were being brought up to the Corbert Court Restaraunt (Cork side) and turned around and brought down on the hard shoulder to avoid holding up traffic at the gate on the main road, very well stewarded.

Worked very well so I guess its the same this year.

Cars over 25 years only AFAIK, will be exceptions for the likes of Sierra Cosworths etc.. I presume

Thanks all who replied & Carchaelogist for convoy invite. Will probably make the trip if weather is good. What time would I want to be there if I'm bringing the MR2

I'd be there well before 12, last year was excellent weatherwise too.

Last year there were a fair few autojumblers down from the north. I hope they will make the trip again this year.....not enough of this down south.

Guess who loves a good rummage ?:)

After the monsoon today will the field be a bit soft on Sunday?

Heard it was pretty muddy today but they're spreading straw tonight. Just spent the evening cleaning & waxing the MR2 so I think I'll give it a skip.

Thinking the same here too, big car will get stuck, and small one will get wrecked.

Edit; sun is shining so we will go for it! FWD FTW!
