Hey lads, I'm searching a LCD inverter to my HP DV4 laptop, I've found on UK ebay, USA ebay, and few chinas websites, all of them charge me twice the price of the product to ship to Dublin.

My question is, does anyone know a site/store where I can get that kind of products here in Ireland, or even free shipping, like Dealextreme??

ps: I haven't found the model I need on dealextreme.com

    Thanks in advance!!

I don't know what an LCD inverter is, so I don't know will you find it on these sites, but I do know these sites are used alot by people here that build their own machines so you might find it on one of them.

Thanks for the info, but they don't have LCD inverter.

LCD Inverter is this eletronic board that supplies the power to provide a backlight to the screen. My one is faulty so i've to replace.

    Thanks again! ;)

A quick ebay search throws this item up as the first hit of 15, at 14.95 +4.95p+p from UK.

Sometimes the postage charges are high on ebay because the seller pays fees on the sale price, not the postage. Just check the overall cost! I've bought things for £0.01 before with £10 post.

When I worked for a computer repair shop we always got our inverters from ebay. None of our suppliers stocked them and I never found anywhere else to buy them.
