Mitsubishi Lancer starting problem

    Hi,

    I have 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer 1.5 Auto, since i bought it on 2008 i am having this starting problem.

    From Month to month or week to week car refuse to start(I had a problem where it wouldn’t crank on the first try or the second or the third) then it startup.

    I have contacted my dealership couple times and they took it the car couple times where they changed few thing hoping that would fix the problem but the issue keep happing.

    I just want to know if anybody else have smiler issue as me?

    The mitsi's newish robotised gearox can lock the starter if the

    brake vacuum rums out/low while in gear!!!

    Try not to move the gearshifter with the engine off.

    Dont pump the brakes with the engine off either.

    Get a garage to test the brake booster.

    Or possibly starter solenoid contacts, any click when it fails to start?
