Slight change to o2 prepay data pricing

    From 28th July 2011 prepay customers will be charged 99c for 50MB straight away rather than the current way of 2cent per KB upto 99cent.

    Will only effect people using the smallest amounts of data

    Questions: If a pre pay user does not agree with the change (since it is being forced on them) they can leave (as they're pre pay of course) but since they've (O2) quoted the reg 17 of the EU in the doc would it not be possible to leave and get your phone unlocked even if you haven't spent the required 150 credit since the regulation states without penalty. If you chose to leave because of the change but O2 refused to unlock the phone would this not be classified as a penalty?
