a good gel bartape is best. start at the bottom of the bars work your way to top .keep a good tight pull on the tape overlap half the width every time .the hoods will fold back cover the clamp with the 2 ins strip that comes with the tape finish off by taping the end about 1.5ins from the stem.
hope this helps cant explain it any better:D

yes one roll per side make sure you have sticky tape handy when you get to the end on yeah when you start leave an overhang of about 1.8 of an inch because it will hold the stopper dead tight act as a wedge ;)

Oh yes, I have the antique brown and have to say I love it. Something about it just exudes quality. What's cool about it is that the more you use it the better it looks. Although, it's shockingly expensive for what it is and had I not got it as a present I'd never have been able to justify the cost. Also, I believe that the honey brown does fade quite a bit over time. I still think it looks nice though.

Cheers happytramp. Might use it on my Cinelli Proxima which nearly finished. Have a Sam Marco Rolls saddle which would look great with the Brooks.

After reading this and watching Beasty's video, I all of a sudden feel very wrong...:D

    Any other top-to-bottom-ers???

Yep, measure in 1.5 inch or what you like and tuck the end into the bar end. Easier to center it in the middle.

Real question is do you wrap forward or backwards

Yep. Backwards from the top (tape holds itself in place so no need for finishing tape), reverse direction at the brake levers and tuck in at the plugs. Insulating tape wrapped inside out over the drops first so the tape will stay in place if it gets shredded against a wall/road.

I don't like the feel of the Brooks tape; it is slippery and feels thin compared to standard cork tape. Pity as it looks good.
