Hi guys, hope i am in the right forum.

I have a camera a canon EOS 450D and a professional light and tent. (really not sure if the camera is still good as we haven't really used it).

Photography costs for retail are quite high and i may try and do them myself.

For a standard retail picture, what will i need to learn in photoshop to make them look professional. The pics i currently get done are good. They are around 1-1.5 mb per picture, then i reduce that with photoshop but its the only thing i can do in it at the moment. Has anyone come across a good tutorial or course i could maybe do?

This is very confusing post. Nowhere do you say what you actually need until the end where we have in infer what you want. :(

You want to take product shots and you're asking for advice on post processing tips?

Look at curves, levels, sharpening. Also look at best practice for downsampling and optimising for the web.
