Hi all,
My first time posting on this forum.
I have my nct coming up soon and found out this morning while geting new tyres that i have a badly cracked alloy. welding is not an option in this case so i think that it needs to be replaced. i am using the spare steel rim now. i tried my local vw dealer and it will cost over 250 euro. i have rang a couple of places for one seccond hand to no avail. Can anyone point me in the right direction for finding one. A steel rim at least could do for now.
Do i need to have to have the spare wheel to pass the NCT if i dont have one by the test?
I'm in the Roscommon town area.
