    Hi Folks,

I need a new wireless keyboard with a built in mouse. I had a BTC one with a track point, the latter has stopped working.

Any recommendations/links suppliers would be very welcome.

I need the receiver not to need line of sight as the computer is behind a wall, although I could get a receiver into the room where I use the keyboard.

    Thanks,
    MAJJ

I've been happily using a Logitech DiNovo Edge bluetooth keyboard for the last few years now. Pretty big to have around the sitting room, but there's a mini version available too (I haven't tried these though).

I have the same. It's big but imo that's a plus, I can easily type with it resting on my lap. It looks stylish and is well constructed but it is expensive. If you have the money it's a great keyboard for the living room. I've had mine 4 years now and counting.

I have a gyration mouse/keyboard a bit like this one

The mouse uses motion sensing (like a Wii remote) so is easy to use on the couch. It is handy having a full sized keyboard that is still quite small, for typing search strings or the odd email.

If you've an Xbox Kinect sensor it might be worth giving this a shot.. http://www.win-and-i.com/

I've been though a good few of these over the years and the best one (and current one) is the €40 job that Lidl have for sale about once a year.
Great signal carry and very efficent on batteries, nice size because it's not too big not too small.

I have a Keysonic Mini RF Touch Pad Wireless Keyboard Black, Its crap, dont buy one.

I had an Emprex 9039ARF Emprex Wireless MCE Keyboard w/Trackball, I Loved it but soem keys stopped working. I may buy another instead of the horrible keysonic.

Not sure where you'd buy these (Gyration remote and keyboard) but I bought one from iBood a good while back and can't fault it. Fantastic pieces of kit...

Just got a Trust Thinity - about €60 - small, with track-pad, rechargeable, works on Linux (plug-and-play). Not perfect, but fine for basic browsing/media centre

Reckon the logictech is too expensive for my amount of use, although they seem to be durable. The emprex is like my BTC but mine had a joysitck that stopped working.

Lidl one sounds like a good one but can't wait on a promise :)

Thanks to you all, really great response. Will mull over and make a decision and respond with some feedback on my choice.

    +1 to this.

I've tried 4 or 5 different htpc keyboards over the last few years. This one beats them all by a mile as far as i'm concerned. Brilliant battery life, excellent range and nice and small.

Finally received the IPazzPort Bluetooth Wireless Handheld Mini Keyboard. Have to say it works like a charm out of the box. My fear was the keyboard would be too small to be practical but it not.

keysonic 540rf is your only man, light, durable, easy on battery's looks decent enough. some may not like the size. about the size of a screenless 13" laptop (but much much lighter)

about €50 from numerous sites online.
