RTE news app won't load on iPad 2

Got an iPad yesterday and the above app won't load. Deleted and re-installed it but didn't work. Just wondering if this is a common problem with this application? Tks

No it's not a common problem afaik but I've tried to open it on my iPad 2 now and it doesn't seem to be working. All I'm getting is the loading centre circle.
